How Did Zen Life Begin?

Our story traces back to the late 1980’s, when Coach Don Shula of the Miami Dophins was our spokes person. Our 5,000 sq. ft. showroom displayed 5 full living rooms systems complete with theater seats, built-in cabinetry and surround sound entertainment systems.

Since then, our growth has expanded into other smart home technologies making Zen Life the most diverse home technology company in the nation. We believe strong relationships are built by treating clients with respect, consistently delivering consisten quality projects on time and in budget. Our clients go back with us 30 years and continue to refer friends and family, many of whom rely on Zen Life for their electronics needs year after year.

Our company started in the late 80’s woven together by some of the most influential business minds in South Florida. Our Journey

1988

Zen Life was called AVEX Home Theater with a 5,000 sq. ft. sowroom in Pompano Beach, FL. Partly owned by investors of Auto Nation, McDonalds and Coach Don Shula of the Miami Dolphins was our spokes person. Television commercials ran all across South Florida throughout the late 80's and 90's.

2002

Seth is hired to run all service and operations for AVEX Home Theater, leaving his own startup to help to reinvent the vision for AVEX. He invests his soul and imagination into pivoting the company into the flat screen era of home entertainment which was a big shift away from the standard large wooden cabinets they had been manufacturing in-house for almost 20 years.

2004

The collaboration between Seth and AVEX evolved into a strategic business partnership which resulted in Seth taking command to lead the company into the next generation of tech offerings and rebranding to Zen Life.

Today

Over 20 years later, Zen Life continues to grow and innovate, providing cutting-edge technology solutions to homeowners throughout South Florida and beyond.
